Moku:Lab's Waveform Generator and Frequency Modulation

Moku:Lab's Waveform generator instrument is a flexible function generator capable of Amplitude, Frequency or Phase modulation (AM, FM or PM).

Here we see the Waveform Generator setup with a 10 MHz carrier on channel 1 & modulation source set to an internally generated signal. The FM deviation can be configured together with the modulating frequency.

The modulation source is then switched to Moku:Lab's output channel 2. Initially channel 2 is generating a sine wave and then it is changed to a square wave. The modulation source can also be set to either of Moku:lab's 2 inputs; thus enabling a truly flexible frequency modulated (F.M.) signal generator.
