Is internet access required to use Moku devices?

You can use Moku devices on a network without any internet connection, with no limitations.
The Moku app can connect to Moku devices by wired ethernet or wirelessly via wifi. If there are restrictions on the use of network connections, the Moku app can also connect via a wired USB connection.
The only instances when you would need an internet connection are :
1- to download or update the Moku app; or to download the supported APIs (Python, MATLAB or LabVIEW).
2- to access the Moku Cloud Compile service to compile custom functions. Once a custom function is compiled and downloaded, no further internet access is necessary.
3- if you purchase additional instruments; you need a one time internet access to download the configuration file; or we can email this file to you. You can follow the guide here for more information.
But in all these cases; the Moku itself does not need internet access.
